Family Link Worker & Partnership Work
Our Bangladeshi Family Link Worker works with families within the Kings Cross and Brunswick area, carrying out extensive outreach and working in partnership with local organisations.
Family link work is designed to support and link up families and children to local services, to assess health and physical needs; concerns that may be affecting their current situation and make referrals to other agencies; to empower and encourage them to participate in community centre activities that are designed appropriately with consideration for a friendly environment and cultural setting.
Based at Chadswell Healthy Living Centre, we already have various activities for both men and women of all ages. We successfully run activities, courses and training.
Of all our activities, the most popular are the women’s exercise class, IT class and the after school homework club.
